Register a New Alberni.ca Account

If you have an old Alberni.ca user account, you may still login and post to our anonymous forum section.

Posting to all other sections of the Alberni.ca site (eg. News, Classifieds, Real Name Forums, etc.) now requires a Real Name account.

Create a New Account in 3 Easy Steps:
1. Click on "Sign In With Facebook" button (located on the right sidebar)
2. Login to your Facebook account
3. Authorize Facebook to create a new Alberni.ca account, using your Facebook name (must be your real name)

That's it!

If you do not (or prefer not to) use Facebook, you may make an appointment to come into our office with your Driver's License, and we will manually create a Real Name account for you.

Community Group Accounts

Alberni.ca invites all community groups in Port Alberni to request a free Community Group Account, so that your group can be listed in our Community Groups Directory and be able to publish your news, events, and volunteer needs / items wanted -- all on the frontpage of Alberni.ca.
