The Port Alberni Port Authority (PAPA) is requesting proposals from interested parties to enter into an agreement for thesales and service of fuel to marine vessels utilizing the floating breakwater (currently known as Somass Pier) extending from the upland immediately adjacent to Fishermen’s Harbour on the northern edge of the marina.
The market opportunity includes recreation, First Nations, commercial and, potentially, large ocean going shipping vessels. There is also an opportunity to provide fuel to float planes.
