The Alberni Valley Bear Smart has been working diligently on behalf of the community and are always looking for fresh ideas and new recruits. AVBS will have a booth at the following up coming events:
The Salmon Festival this Sunday for the Bullhead Derby from 8:30 to 12:30. We will be set up behind the entertainment seating, next to the consession trailer.
For the upcoming Fall Fair AVBS's booth will be in front of the stage at the Glenwood Center on September 11 (3-10), 12 (12-10) & 13th (11-4) . We will have a bear skull, bear photos, bear proof garbage can, brochures, displays, stuffed bears, fanny packs and a draw for a quality, hand-crafted, wooden box from Woodpecker Woodworks.
