Season's Greetings

The board of directors and staff of the Port Alberni Port Authority wish to take a moment to reflect on this past year, the Christmas and holiday season, those we work with and for, and, of course, everyone in our community.
Don Ferster, Chairman of the Board: Please take the time to appreciate the family and friends we all have that surround us as well as taking that extra time to help the less fortunate. Have a safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Ken Barlow, Director: Wishing you every happiness this holiday season and throughout the coming year.
Gordon Blake, Director: Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year
Gary Brett, Director: Happy Holidays. Let's make sure we take the opportunity to help those less fortunate not only during the holiday season but all through the year. May 2011 be filled with sun on your face, gentle winds at your back, the smell of salt air and time to enjoy relaxing sunsets.
Darren DeLuca, Director: Best wishes for a safe and joyous Christmas and holiday season. May all the sport fishers experience Tight Lines in 2011.
Dianne St. Jacques, Director: Wishing all the best of the holiday season to the good folks of the Alberni Valley. May the future be merry & bright for one and all!
Gillian Trumper, Director: Wishing a very happy Christmas to you, your families and friends. To all those who volunteer to make this season a happy one for those less fortunate than ourselves: Thank you!
Brad Madelung, Port Manager/CEO: I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday filled with laughter, companionship, and peace. May many fond memories be the lasting gift of the season. Merry Christmas to you all.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge West Van Isle Contracting Co, Surefloat, Bailey Electric, Manson Renovating & Construction Ltd. and Carmanah Pacific Plumbing for their concentrated efforts in improving our Marinas. A special thank you to our seasonal staff, marina user groups and of course, our tenants for their patience during all of our facility upgrades. Have a safe 2011 boating season.
Bianca Filipchuk, Executive Secretary: Seasons Greetings to the Alberni Valley. The best Christmas gift you can give to your family and yourself is the joy of being together. I wish you all an abundance of joy and peace during the holiday season and through 2011.
Doug Flegal, Marina Manager’s Assistant: From all of us at China Creek Marina, we wish all of our campers and boaters a very happy and healthy holiday season.

Dave McCormick, Manager of Property & Community Relations: We often want what we’ve not got but take time to recognize that often, what we really need is all around us. Let’s appreciate what we have and how much more we can achieve together. Merry Christmas; happy holidays and best wishes for a prosperous New Year.
Kathy Phillips, Receptionist / Clerk: I wish to express my sincere holiday wishes by sharing this poem:
Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself...
