Ukes of Hazard is a fun, energetic, unique and upbeat 5-piece Indie-rock band with influences of swing and jazz.  With a great lineup of original songs written by Paris Pick, as well as covering popular favorites with their own creative twist.  Always succeeding to have full dance floors and a positive atmosphere attached to any show they put forward.

Featuring Paris Pick (also known by stage name Paris Vagabond Gypsy) on electric ukulele and lead vocals, Zachary Pelland on electric guitar, Cain Rogan on Saxophone, Patrick Docherty (From Whitehorse's popular folk rock band The Midnight Sons) and Aiden Tentrees on bass (also known for his Whitehorse rock-duo SODA PONY).

Ukes of Hazard has been performing professionally in Whitehorse Yukon since 2013, playing at almost every venue available in town, as well as local festivals such as Rendezvous Winter Festival, Rocktober and Frostbite Music Festival.  Ukes of Hazard released their first demo album in 2014, followed by their full-length album 'Mine to Creep' in 2015. Both albums have received airplay on CBC Radio 1 & CJUC 92.5 Whitehorse community radio.

BIO

'Paris Vagabond Gypsy' (given stage name) was 18 years old when she first
arrived in Whitehorse Yukon, as a hitchhiker musician & songwriter from
Vancouver Island, BC

She made it her goal to form a band who'd join her in spreading the feelings of
happiness and joy with her original songs. A year in the cold passed, and she
succeeded. By age 19 Paris had some of the best musicians in town, in her new
band.

booking gigs in every bar she could for weekends on end, Paris was saturating
Whitehorse with her new music and the locals were loving it.

Paris is also known for her bass playing in other Whitehorse bands such as The
House Cats, Sonic Poon, The Steiner Recliners and The Recreational Hillbillies.
Paris is also known on the art circuit in Whitehorse with her psychedelic art
pieces.

In the summer of 2016 Paris opened her own art stand 'The Gypsy
Wagon' at the fireweed market selling her albums, shirts and prints.
