Dress up & be counted for the Guinness Book of World Records!  The Centennial Belles offer workshops in how to create Regency-era costumes for ladies, gentlemen and children.  Enjoy the Jane Austen Festival in July, and help Port Alberni challenge the Guinness Book of World Records for most people in Regency costume.  Workshop admission is by donation.

Ladies gowns from scratch and sew-yourself, advice on patterns, types of fabric and lots of hints to get you started.  Compile a costume from a thrift store or the back of your closet.  How-to's for gentlemen's wear, children's wear and headwear of all types.

To participate in the Guinness World Record count please pre-register in person at the Rollin Art Centre, or on line (see link below).  Registration fee is $5.00 per person.

The Jane Austen Festival of Port Alberni is presented by the Centennial Belles Fashion Group, a not-for-profit community group dedicated to preserving and presenting vintage and authentically recreated fashions of past decades.
