Sun, Mar 4th, 6:30-7:30pm, Concert – John Pippus & Ecole Alberni Elementary Choir

Vancouver-based singer/songwriter John Pippus is teaming up with the elementary choir from Ecole Alberni under the direction of Megan Reddick. The early evening concert will be at Char’s Landing on Sunday March 4th. Doors open at 6pm, concert at 6:30pm.

Ecole Alberni Elementary Choir consists of approximately 80 children in grades 3-6. They rehearse once a week under the direction of Mme Megan Reddick. The AES Choir enjoys performing at school assemblies and concerts as well as at public events. Earlier this school year, the choir sang in the production of the Nutcracker, produced by Stage West. 

After beginning her career teaching in primary French Immersion classrooms, Mme Reddick made the switch to teaching music four years ago. She is passionate about promoting the arts in schools and is the Artstarts Coordinator for School District 70. She has her M.Ed. in French Immersion Teaching and Learning from Simon Fraser University.  http://www.sd70.bc.ca/school/aes/
