Sun, May 13th, 2-4pm, Salvage Couture by Amira Strain – ADSS Fashion Show

Salvage Couture is a project which focused on upcycling material that would otherwise be thrown out and celebrating the diversity of people. A project which started in my Social Justice 12 class, Salvage Couture has grown into so much more than just a little project. Its goal is to bring awareness to the harms of fast fashion and the effect it has on the environment. It is also a day of celebrating diversity, and deconstructing the stereotypes placed upon us by society.  Amira
