NOTE: Oktoberfest tickets are still available for this Friday night (October 17th), but Saturday's event's is completely sold out.
Oktoberfest excitement is growing and this year the organizers have invited the Pat Cummings dancers to be part of the festivities with an entertaining trio of Bavarian influenced dances. The school readily accepted the challenge and in a very short time have perfected these very authentically choreographed pieces with skill and precision. Their costumes were made just for this special occasion and are very colourful. Oktoberfest 2014 welcomes this young troop into the fold in the hopes that we can keep traditions alive especially as the Port Alberni Festival is now over 40 years old.... Prost!!
