Port Alberni’s own entertainers Jeff & Lori Moore are bringing their International Cruise Ship pub style music to enhance Char’s Social Sunday night atmosphere.  From classic Beatles to Tragically Hip, vintage Hank Williams to Garth Brooks, polkas to Motown, ’GREAT ESCAPE’ takes pride in playing many of your favorites.  ‘Great Escape’ is a duo that can achieve that full band “wall of sound” for dancing, or stay in the background to create a “relaxing” atmosphere.

BIOS

Jeff has been a musician for most of his life, playing guitar and singing on the

western Canada country circuit full time for 2 years. The last 19 years Jeff has performed

on Vancouver Island with many diverse acts as band leader or sideman. Most notably as a

founding member of “The Cactus Pricks” who were West Coast Music Award nominees

with airplay on over 350 stations across North America and had 4 music videos on CMT.

Lori has always had a great passion for music, playing guitar with friends and

family most of her life. She has dedicated the last 10 years to singing and playing bass. She

has been performing at live venues all across Canada as well as worldwide contracting to

the cruise line industry with ‘Great Escape’. Lori looks forward to a future of entertaining

music lovers all over the globe.

We enjoy playing live, performing locally, across Canada, aboard cruise ships

visiting eight continents and hundreds of ports.

‘Great Escape’ consists of:

Jeff Moore on lead guitar and vocals

Lori Moore on bass guitar and vocals

The duo performs either acoustically or uses backing tracks

(drums, sparse keyboard and horn lines)

New material is constantly being added to create an ever growing repertoire, sure

to meet the tastes of music lovers everywhere.
