Yuri's Night is a global celebration of human achievement in space.   Consider where we’ve been, explore where we are, dream about where we’re going!  Around the world in April, events commemorate Yuri Gagarin as the first human in space on April 12, 1961, and the first Space Shuttle launch on April 12, 1981.  Yuri's Night.net is a volunteer organization dedicated to using the excitement of space to inspire the explorers of tomorrow.  WEB:  https://yurisnight.net/

Alberni Deep Space Port Star Trek Fan Association celebrates all things Trek -- the fun and adventure of reaching for that bright future.  Shore Leaves include games nights, video nights, feasts and more.  Away Missions support local charities.  A registered non-profit society affiliated with STARFLEET, the International Star Trek Fan Association, they carry forward the vision of the future that inspired Gene Roddenberry to create Star Trek -- eyes on the stars, boots on the ground.    [DISCLAIMER: Use of trademarked terms is under fair use only as permitted by law.]
