The Butterfly Effect is a butterfly release fundraiser for the Alberni Valley Hospice Society.

Our first release will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Canal Beach - 11 am

It's sure to be a great event - we hope you'll join us!

We have a goal of releasing 300 butterflies, celebrating the transformation from one stage of life to another, and paying symbolic tribute to the loved ones we have lost.

We have made the decision to release Painted Lady Butterflies, a beautiful species native to our region.

Each person who sponsors a butterfly will receive an individually packed butterfly, ready to break free and take flight at our mass release location, on April 30th. Each sponsored butterfly will also come with a complementary package of milkweed seeds.

All those who participate in releasing a butterfly, or choose to attend the event, will be surrounded by countless butterflies fluttering around our beautiful venue.
 
This is going to be a beautiful event, but we can’t make it happen without your participation.
