The Port Alberni Welcome Wagon is hosting a free newcomer welcome event on Tuesday, November 1st at Chances RimRock. This is a great opportunity to get connected with the community, learn about local services and mingle with other residents. The event is free but registration is requested. The event will begin with a meet and greet followed by presentations from Teresa Bird, publisher of the Alberni Valley News, and Pat Deakin,  Manager of Economic Development with the City of Port Alberni.
